New Message from Eicca!

Hi all you crazy Apo-fans!!!! And thank you for great time on tour,
what a wonderful and long one... ;-) We were so happy to be able to
visit so many countries this time, I think something around 40! And 180
shows... So even we were really enjoying playing all those shows its
really time to look to the future...

After playing last shows in mid-July we had like four weeks holiday
(too short... ;-), I think everybody enjoyed some time off. But as we
are bad-ass workers we are already writing new songs and starting to
rehearse, only problem is that its SOO difficult to find good rehearsal
room... as you might know we have not been awarded for "the most
practising band " we have had no need for a room BUT this time we
really want to see what will happen if we practise... at least a
little...mu-ha-haa... (so beside writing we can stay lazy unitill we'll
find one... and Paavo...)
this time we will work with producer, also having quests on the album
and even co-writing songs with different people to really make sure
that next album will kick the s***-out-of-all-of-you...
so the plan is to record the album during winter which means we will be
back on the road already next year!!!! Jippiyyy!!!!
- oh shit...

But hey, now I have to go to write one more Lovelii song for you.

*Promueve el quinteto finlandés HIM en nuestro país su disco 'Dark light'

Para Ville y Migé, cantante y bajista de la agrupación de rock góthico HIM el mezcal es una de las bebidas más deliciosas que han probado en sus dos viajes a México.                      

   "Esta es la segunda vez que venimos, y ahora tenemos menos tiempo de pasear, porque debemos hacer promoción del disco (Dark Light).

   "Pero ayer (viernes), cuando llegamos, nos dimos nuestro tiempo para tomarnos un mezcal, que es muy rico", comentó Ville.

   Ambos artistas dijeron ayer, en un conocido hotel de Polanco, que hasta el momento les parece un privilegio que cuenten con fans en México, ya que su banda se formó en Finlandia, en 1995, y apenas hace tres años vinieron por primera vez a tocar al DF.

   "Nuestro estilo, gótico, no siempre es muy bien recibido por todas las masas, y creemos que es un sueño hecho realidad, sorprendente, que tengamos fans aqui, en México, porque venimos de culturas muy distintas" , comentó Migé, en tono enfático.

   La banda, que completan Gas, Burton, y Linde, vino al país a promover el que es su quinto disco de estudio, Dark Light y del cual suena como sencillo "wings of a butterfly".

   HIM tenia programado presentarse ayer por segunda ocación en el Salón 21, ante aproximadamente mil 500 fans. Su nombre es la abreviatura de "His Infernal Majesty", que significa Su Majestad Infernal, y la banda lleva más de dos millones de unidades vendidas, sólo en Europa, de toda su discografía.

Ville comentó que uno de los principales retos que tiene su agrupación es el poder seguir haciendo discos en una industria tan competida como la musical, y consolidarse dentro del mercado latinoamericano como una de las predilectas del rock gótico a nivel mundial.

   Para cerrar su ciclo con la disquera anterior, HIM editó el recopilatorio And Love Said No: Greatest Hits 1997-2004.
